WINTER 2011
The MUSES Trinity Lab
NINE MONDAY NIGHTS, 8pm-11pm
NOV. 7th 2011 through JAN. 2, 2012
VETS ONLY. Facilitated by ANTERO ALLI and the group
NOTE: THIS LAB NOW IN PROGRESS.

Over the ages, the Muses have been known by many
names -- daemon, genius, Holy Guardian Angel;
this third Muses Lab is dedicated to activating
and stabilizing a personal relationship with
the impersonal Muse phenomena.

LAB INTENT
The two previous Muses Labs (Muses 1 and Muses 2) proved
effective in setting up dialogue with the autonomous archetype
and its post-lab yield of creative insight and artistic productivity.

In this third Muses Lab, we will explore a series of charged trinities to find our most personally resonant, or core, trinity to apply during our interactions with the Muses (that numen of autonomous archetypes igniting heightened creativity, visions, Art, etc). In addition to participating, I will also offer ritual forms, floor designs, and group structures. We will all share responsibility for calling the sources engaged in this lab. - Antero

PARTICIPANTS
ANTERO ALLI, SYLVI ALLI, JEFFREY FISHER, KYRA AUERBACH,

THREE AREAS OF WORK
Besides approaching the Muses, this Lab continues
the ongoing development of these paratheatre skills:

SHADOW WORK
Rituals and movement forms that expose unconscious and often self-destructive attitudes, complexes, and beliefs towards their transformation into more creative expression and spontaneity. This process
can be supported and accomplished with technique work.

TECHNIQUE WORK
The structural integrity of this ritual technology is maintained by a web of techniques that include: No-Form, Polarizations, Contact Point, Vocalizations, Verticality, The Warm-Up Cycles, Resonance, Service, Containment, Immersion, Movement Vocabulary, Spatial Awareness, Jogging Forms, Ritual Actions, Prayer. The purpose of technique is to bring more precision and form, into the expression of source work.

SOURCE WORK
Nurtures a more direct experience of the currents of energy in the body itself and also, throughout the internal landscape of the soul's domain. This process deepens the capacity to give oneself totally to a given source, force, or state, towards a more full-embodied engagement and expression of ourselves in action, stillness, sound, and gesture.
